Preamble
Sarthaq Future Federation (SFF), a not-for-profit and secular organization committed to socio-legal empowerment, hereby adopts this Uniform Civil Code (UCC) as a declaration of its internal principles to ensure equality, dignity, and uniformity among its members, volunteers, employees, and stakeholders.
1. Equality Before Code
- All individuals associated with SFF, regardless of religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, creed, nationality, marital status, or ability, shall be treated equally under this Code.
- No one shall be discriminated against in recruitment, promotion, assignment, or access to resources within the Federation.
2. Personal Laws & Cultural Respect
- While respecting India’s multiculturalism, all personal or religious identities shall remain private and not override decisions affecting collective interest.
- Organizational functioning shall not be influenced by any sectarian personal law or religious custom.
3. Marriage, Partnership, and Relationship Recognition
- For any official recognition (e.g., nomination for emergency contact, benefits, dependents), only legally valid civil partnerships or self-declared cohabiting partners shall be acknowledged.
- All such declarations must be submitted in good faith and will be treated with confidentiality and dignity.
4. Rights of Women and Gender Minorities

- Harassment, misogyny, misgendering, or denial of participation on gendered grounds shall lead to immediate disciplinary review.
5. Inheritance of Roles, Delegation, and Succession
- No hereditary or familial claim to positions of responsibility shall be recognized.
- Succession to roles (volunteer, coordinator, leadership) shall be based solely on merit, commitment, and democratic appointment.
6. Dress Code and Personal Appearance
- There shall be no mandatory religious dress code. Members are free to express identity through dress, as long as it does not conflict with public decency, safety, or field requirements.
- Uniforms or badges (if applicable) shall be gender-neutral and inclusive.
- Members may be required to wear official dress, identity cards, caps, badges, or other items provided by Sarthaq Future Federation during events, campaigns, outreach programs, or wherever organizational representation is necessary.
7. Freedom of Belief and Expression
- Members may hold personal beliefs, but institutional decisions shall be secular and guided by the Constitution of India.
- Hate speech, incitement, or propaganda of any religion or ideology through SFF platforms is strictly prohibited.
8. Marriage, Divorce, and Family Disputes (Internal Policy)
- The Federation shall not interfere in personal/family matters unless affecting organizational integrity, legal obligations, or safety.
- In such cases, a neutral internal ethics committee may recommend guidance without bias.
